YouthCAN Summer Cultural Arts Experience at Wing Luke

Hosted by the Wing Luke Asian Museum, the event provides an opportunity to
channel creative energy into designing an arts and cultural exhibit and take
action on an issue affecting the Asian Pacific American community. June

Strategies for Summer Safety
Are new friends, relatives, caregivers, camps and surroundings a part of
your child's summer? Help kids learn to identify and create strong
boundaries to keep them safe when you cannot be with them. P.E.A.C.E of
Mind, a nonprofit dedicated to prevention education around predatory abuse,
is hosting prevention education workshops all over the Puget Sound. $10

The public hearings are designed for individuals in the community to present
confidential testimony on their personal experiences with law enforcement.

from 1941-42

The UW presents honorary degrees to 440 Japanese-American citizens and
university students forced by Executive Order 9066 to leave Seattle on May
