Workers’ Compensation
Administrative Audit

The Personnel Department of the City of Seattle is seeking to contract with an interested and qualified organization to perform a review of the City’s workers’ compensation workflow and processes, and its software system, to assess the need for changes to improve in-house operations and/or claim decisions. The City does not intend to consider options such as a change in its excess insurance broker, a change in its excess insurance carrier, or movement of workers’ compensation administrative functions to the Department of Labor & Industries or to a third party administrator/claim service organization. The project is subject to adjustment as the City and its contractor mutually agree. In the event the City elects to have additional work performed by the selected Proposer, the contract may be amended and extended.
